Leroux is set to remain at Angel City, as the club have exercised their option to extend her contract until December 2024. She moved to the club from Orlando Pride in 2022.

The veteran has made 13 appearances for Angel City in total, scoring once, having scored 16 times in 53 games for Orlando. She also won 77 caps for the United States women's national team, scoring 35 goals.

Leroux said: “I am so excited to continue my career with Angel City.
“Los Angeles has truly become home for me and my family and I wouldn’t want to play anywhere else. The community the club has built is incredible and I look forward to playing many more games in front of the best fans in the NWSL.”
She also tweeted a gif on social media after her deal was announced.
